Q: Hello Lemon! Please briefly introduce your relationship with Zhongshuo!

Lemon: When it comes to the fate with Zhongshuo, I think it is quite memorable. It may be because I was not optimistic at the beginning, and my self-proclaimed past experience does not match the field of hazardous chemicals that Zhongshuo Group focuses on. Therefore, my selection is not the best choice for the company (in hindsight) But as far as I am concerned, the spirit of "not admitting defeat" that is inherent in my personality may be awakened in this way. The less promising something is, the easier it is to arouse my interest and curiosity. Therefore, I joined Zhongshuo Group with a "full of ambition" mentality. Through continuous learning, breakthrough, and continuous creation of value is my mission after joining the group.

Q: Has your position and responsibilities changed in the past five years at Zhongshuo?

Lemon: I joined as the manager of the overseas business department at the beginning. The job responsibilities involve business, corporate promotion, operation, training, new project cultivation and other roles and tasks coexist. Through continuous attempts, my personal role has also gradually developed from the initial activator and achiever to the direction of developer Bole Xunma. To achieve others is to achieve oneself.

In my opinion, no matter how the position and responsibilities change, I think the most important thing in the face of work is to be able to keep pace with the team and the company, and have a compatible three views. For example, the company has expanded rapidly in the past five years. Not only has the number of people increased rapidly, but it also has higher requirements for talent training and professional skills. In order to adapt to the company's growth, I need to improve team management and professional capabilities. Taking on the task of training the English communication skills of the whole company, empowering colleagues and newcomers, and converging their own pace with the company. Colleagues drive the team to catch up with the company's pace, and maintain the original intention of continuous improvement. In this way, no matter after five years or even longer, we can always stand by the side of the team and the company and make progress hand in hand.

Q: Has Zhongshuo changed in your eyes during this period?

Lemon: The development of Zhongshuo Group has gone through 28 years of ups and downs so far. The group has gradually transformed from the original single model of traditional international freight forwarding to focus on the segmented market of hazardous chemicals and provide comprehensive logistics for full-scenario delivery. Then, once again conforming to the hot spots of the times, we actively try to promote digital solutions to the traditional B2B field of hazardous chemicals, which is rarely touched by digitalization, and continue to innovate to create a new customer experience. Every attempt is a qualitative leap, and every choice condenses the wisdom of "giving up and winning", which lays the foundation for Zhongshuo to maintain high-speed growth in the future.

Zhongshuo constantly seeks innovation and change, but maintains a certain persistence in the change. What changes is the business model, but what remains unchanged is our understanding and compliance with the nature of business. This is the common gene of all those great companies that I admire in my heart.

Q: Have you ever sacrificed your personal interests for your work?

Lemon: Zhongshuo never asks employees to sacrifice their own interests. The company does not encourage overtime culture. During the holidays, the chairman and vice presidents often take the initiative to add benefits to employees at their own expense. The atmosphere within the team is also mutual help. Equality and harmony, no involution phenomenon.

I have always respected "altruism" and "long-termism" in my work. In order to comply with the strategic goal of the logistics supply chain of Zhongshuo Chemicals, I was ordered to accept an offer to host the project "SCC Chemicals Supply Chain Delivery Platform". Its project concept is a pioneer in China, and there are no examples of competing products in the market to learn and compare. There is no reference process and standard model, and the success of the project is still unknown. No one knows how to do it, and they don't know whether it will be successful, so I started to take over SCC. While developing into new fields, I also need to strengthen the indicators and management of my own business department.

Looking at it at that time, I could actually stay in my established position conservatively and continue to do the work I am good at and familiar with. If I don’t make mistakes, I will be stable. If you accept this project, you will be desperate and put all your eggs in one basket. A lot of new knowledge needs to be mastered and applied to decision-making in a short period of time. With many uncertain factors, you can only cross the river by feeling the stones. But in the long run, the establishment of the SCC project is an important strategic milestone for Zhongshuo Group to transform into the subdivided field of chemical logistics supply chain. It is an inevitable trend in the company's development, and I am honored to be a participant to contribute to it. This is my The glory is also my mission. So I embraced it and put my all into it.

"Time is the only criterion for testing truth." Now, three years later, SCC has turned losses into profits, and has grown into a signature project and the second engine of Zhongshuo Chemical Industry. It not only verified that my original adventure was meaningful, but also made my efforts bear fruit!

Q: What qualities do you think Zhongshuo partners should have?

Lemon: I think the following qualities are required to be a partner:

Lemon: Benefits and risks coexist. While enjoying the rich returns brought by the company's growth, it is also necessary to rationally view and accept the risks arising from joint operations, and to bear the consequences and responsibilities.
