At the end of August 2022, with the joint efforts of the Purchasing Department, Warehousing Department and Yantai colleagues, our UTC warehouse successfully completed the reconstruction and qualification acceptance of the Class C warehouse, and the Yantai warehouse project was officially launched. The Yantai warehouse includes the following warehouse areas, -20℃to -40°C freezer area, 2℃to 8℃refrigerated storage area, 21℃The warehouse area with a constant temperature of 25°C, the finished product warehouse area and the raw material warehouse area can basically meet the storage requirements of all types of goods of Henkel.

From September 2022, the Henkel and Zhongshuo teams have gone through 13 warehousing MOC meetings to continuously refine the relocation plan, and at the same time carry out the normal operation of the warehouse and the work of moving the warehouse under the condition that personnel and materials are in place one after another. On-site positioning, area division, and reorganization were also carried out at the same time. Relevant personnel also worked in the new warehouse in advance to adapt to the new working environment and ensure that the company's operations continued normally after the transfer of all materials.

On November 20, 2022, under the normal schedule, we conducted the first pre-movement drill.

On the one hand, there is intense relocation, and on the other hand, there is also the pressure of logistics shipment and delivery. The Yantai warehouse team formulated a detailed division of labor plan, material statistics, location establishment of the new storage area, and pasting of storage location codes. All members from the warehouse director to the warehouse executive team participated from top to bottom and worked together. On the evening of November 24th, Zhongshuo received an order from Henkel to relocate in advance, and the relocation was 7 days earlier than we expected, and the time was shortened to 3 days.On November 24, news came from all directions that the epidemic was serious and that there might be regional closures. The Zhongshuo team quickly rushed to Yantai from all directions to assemble and deploy emergency relocation matters.Henkel's leadership team also rushed to Yantai from various places to support the emergency relocation.

Although it was an emergency relocation, the Henkel team and the Zhongshuo team still maintained a highly consistent rhythm and completed the warehouse relocation on time, efficiently, and in compliance. Therefore, the warehouse relocation kick-off meeting, the Henkel team on-site inspection, the group relocation preparation discussion, and the warehouse rehearsal Cargo inventory, every step, every detail must not be missed. Make sure there is nothing wrong with moving the warehouse.

After 48 hours of intense brainstorming preparation and actual combat rehearsal, the relocation officially started on November 27. The warehouse was divided into four teams. Some warehouse personnel arrived and moved the goods out of the warehouse to carry out inventory and relocation; some people stayed in the warehouse to contact vehicles for emergency assistance; Some people quickly count the goods, put them into storage, and put them on the shelves. And our planning team is intensively accepting piles of documents to complete the input of the two systems to ensure the accuracy of warehousing and putting on shelves. 50+ partners are running synchronously when the goods are moved out of the warehouse and our UTC warehouse. From this day on, 1:00 a.m. became the normal off-duty time for everyone, but no one complained.

The first car, the second car, the third car, the fourth car... With the arrival of the cars, piles of goods have entered our UTC warehouse. The warehouse, which was originally empty, was filled up immediately .

On the same day, with the efforts of the relocation logistics team, by coordinating logistics personnel to pack and count materials, dispatch forklift resources, and load materials, a total of 31 vehicle trips were carried, with a total of more than 900 pallets of products.

Overnight, there is rain and snow forecast in Yantai, which happens to be Monday, the roads are congested, roads are blocked by traffic jams, and vehicle traffic is blocked. Henkel's goods are of relatively high value, and it will be unimaginable if they get wet in the rain. Seeing that the task was about to be completed, the core team quickly organized manpower, dispatched vehicles urgently, and raced against time to complete today's task in the morning.

On the receiving side, there were more than 900 pallets of goods on the first day, and there were still some goods that had not been put into storage until 2 am. Everyone had less than five hours of sleep, but they still had to cheer up the next day. Come on, complete this task. Warehouse management personnel are all at the forefront of the scene, able to carry hammers and embroidery needles, drive forklifts, load and unload goods, logistics communication, on-site command... Every day at dawn, they are not the first to get up, but I haven't slept yet.
